  • Worst goal line defence in comp

I read that in our quarter we concede a try every 8 tackles.

Now that brings tears to my eyes.

That basically says that if the opposition gets a repeat set in our quarter then they are very likely to score a try.

Hence our tactic of giving penalties away when pinned on our line.

I would bet that 90% of them are on the flanks - due to the fact that our centres rush up, make ineffective tackles (if any) and put the winger in a 2 on 1. This happens every game, winger needs to rush up and make the 1on1s allowing the centre to slide out, I can't believe Robbo isn't coaching this.

I don't know what or how they are being coached.

They tried a few set plays against the eels and latrell almost threw the ball into row 10. Yet I see Eastwood do it with ease for the dogs. Also, our backline spreads looked slow, disjointed and telegraphed.

Latrells positioning gifted parra two tries the other night. Surely mini can help in that department.

Players who should be at Wyong on current form.
            1. Ferguson - Terrible defensive flaws, lack of penetration in attack
            2. Hastings - Has lost all confidence to take the line on himself, also seems too slow for firstgrade.
            3. Evans - Has no impact at all when he comes on, except to give away potplant penalities
            4. Moa - Same as Evans.
            5. Friend - Cost us dearly through continual forward passes

Might be some more as well, but these are the worst offenders, and Connor Watson needs to get much more game time.

So if we sack all five, who should we replace them with?
I'm not saying these players have been great- far from it - but who do we replace them with?
We have a 25 man squad and we've used them all already.

I realise that, but just saying on form they shouldn't be in the side.
