    Does anybody have any???

The last 3 games we have been the better team especially with the ins and outs we've had but we just can't simply hold a ball for some reason.... It really has costs us our season, I think Robbo may have to take action and drop some senior guys for ill discipline as my first would have been JWH for last week.

He tried to off load late in the tackle count whilst still in our half and we lost possession, Eels score off the next set. Yet again drops the ball on the last tackle in the same area on the field, yet the same result with the Eels scoring off the next set...

It is these stupid errors from our senior blokes which destroys the hard work from the likes of Joseph Manu who after that tackle the game was ours....

Latrell makes a great break to run 60 metres, and yet again Tupou drops an easy catch from a kick to kill the momentum...

I mean my point is that our younger guys have better respect for ball control than our senior guys and I feel we need to cut some of them for a week or two just to prove a point......

Nathan you do make some good points sometimes but you have got to be joking on this one.
Dropping JWH is not going to help the team.
If JWH offload comes off & the Roosters score in that set then he's hero but it diidnt come off so you want to drop him, lucky for the Roosters Robbo is the coach & not you.

Nathan I like your contribution on the forum but you lose a lot of credibility by suggesting JWH should get dropped.

Someone on another thread reckons we should hire a ball handling coach. What is a ball handling coach?

The problem isn't ball handling, it is discipline. We had a few costly dropped balls in the second half last week, JWH's as Nathan mentioned, Boyd's stupid pass of the ground, Friends greey guts attempt to score and Latrell's drop as well. All 4 should never have been attempted. We were in front and we didn't need to push the passes or play's that were attempted.
        ...

I wonder if we drop a lot of ball during training?
And if so, if there are any consequences?
As Belamy stated the other day, the "secret" to discipline on the paddock starts on the training field!

I would encourage offloads as much as possible.Artie dropped plenty in his time but the smart ones were ready to pick up the loose ones and belueve me 90 % of Arties dropped balls were intentional

Maybe SKD can bring in the ball Freddy made him carry around?

Artie new that if he got rid of the ball...behind him obviously...he would drop it kniwing bunny reilly or ron coote and kevins stevens would be there to pick it up ...see our blojes are not too crash hot at backing up the ball carrier so we seldom see too many offloafs but when a few are on their gsme we gi alright...see 2013 games fir reference

There was a game that year where Sonny Billions had something like 8 possesions for 8 offloads to start the game. Just unstoppable.

Someone who insists you cup balls instead of freeballing it you know. Gotta keep it handled

Great stuff. Makes a lot of sense too. I need to see more of Artie in action.

If Cordner doesn't pass the ball off the ground we probably win the game dude.

In the first half our completion rate was just above or at 80% and that was in very wet conditions so they know how to control possession. Losing just like winning is a habit.

The more senior players tried to come up with big plays which backfired when the game was there to be taken by continuing the good things we did in the first 60 mins.

Don't worry about the next 3 weeks, we won't be in a position to win maaan!
