    Keary has a bit of Maloney in him in the way he plays the game. And like Maloney, he likes to let the other team know as well. Not saying he will deliver us a premiership like Maloney did, but IMO I think he will fill a major gap in our team since Maloney left.

    ​Just think of the number of games this year we would have won if we kept Maloney.

      Keery was definitely one of the best in a pretty average Vermin side on Sat. Took on the line, ran hard, did his fair share of defensive work, didn't take a backward step and his kicks were halfway decent. All in all, a big improvement of what we have at the moment at 5/8.

      As for the last tackle penalty - how many of those has Jimmy given away and continues to do so? If you want your halves to have a little mongrel in them, you have to expect a few penalties against them. But I'd prefer that to a bloke who has little impact on the game because he doesn't have the gumption to stand up for himself.
