  • I'd like to see Watsom at 7 for a few games

As the topic says , I'd like to see how he goes , we are done for the season , he looks like a good player , give him a go.
Pearce to 6 or maybe even 9 , Matterson to catching practice.

I would love too see Connor Watson in the halves Im baffled why he isnt getting more game time Maybe it is something to do with his contract situation Apart from that I have no idea

Unless Robbo plans to play Watson at 7 fulltime which i can't see happening anytime soon, then this simply won't happen. A run at 5/8 would be more worthwhile, however I think Robbo believes his utility value is more important to the team.

Where would you play Pearce if Robbo listened to you & played Watson at half?
Pearce has been the Roosters best player over the last few games.
I actually thought Pearce would have been moved to 5/8 this year when he returned leaving Hastings at half back.

Yeah I thought the same , Hasting was our new 7.
I still like Hastings , and tonight we'll miss a goal kicker again.

Pearce and Watson in the halves would be nice. Because Robbo doesn't like giving him ample time from the bench.

If he gave him decent time off the bench then bench would be best for him but he doesn't get more than 4 mins at that.

It's been reported he could be starting at 6 tonight.

I think Watson would make a good fullback.

Mitchell to centre, Fergo to English Super League.

Watson isn't a 7 has no kicking game at the moment , he is a ball running 5:8 that is raw but loads of potential

As a team we made some really bad kicks last night, really really bad! Watson wasn't the only one.
I hope he played well enough for the coach to keep him at 6.

It's not like we have Wally Lewis and Brett Kenny knocking down the door.

                          Watson should stay there Bradbury-style.

As things stand I reckon Watson now owns the #6 jersery for the remainder of the season

                              Pearce was pathetic last night.
