  • Sack JWH...

Probably won't make me any friends, but why do we put up with this lanky white biatch who got picked on by all the big maoris at school?

He is heavy, but that's only because he's tall!! The guys he is facing up against have twice as much bulk and he STRUGGLES big time. He reminds me of that spaz kid at school who always chucked a spaz at big kids and did cheap heats on them before getting king hit. After being king hit he doesn't cool down!!!! HE KEEPS SLAPPING THEM AND LOOKING LIKE A SPAZ WHILE DOING SO!!!

JWH marketed himself well and has punched 2 or 3 grades above his weight from the start. The Kiwis poached him so that in the off chance that he became good, he'd be a Kiwi (they have a much slimmer picking pool than us because they all play rooooogby over there so don't want anybody to get away.)

What did he do during his first international? Try talking the talk before walking the walk... he was PUNISHED for it big time by senior players.

Now I'm just sick of this lanky white carnt. EVERY game he gets a hot head and chucks a spaz, giving away STUPID penalties, while the cool headed opposition put all their fire into defence and try celebrations. IF I SEE HIM INCORRECTLY PLAY THE BALL 1 MORE TIME I WILL SCREAM!!!!!! HOW MANY TIMES HAS HE DONE IT THIS SEASON?!?!?

JWH lost us the game yesterday with his STUPID incorrect play the ball and spaz hot head moments. When will we drop him already?

I don't think he's doing too badly. At least he's committed and passionate unlike most of the team.

To say he lost us the game is pretty ridiculous too. Everyone played like shit.

the bloke is barely in his 20s and in his 2nd year of first grade.........yeah lets sack him now because he is not playing like Petro at such a young age.

Don't agree with that bit, but in my book JWH has a lot to learn, and I hope he stays a Rooster, while he does it.
For me, his passion makes up for any weaknesses.

Stupid ****ing post, 2 years ago he was 'the much needed mongrel the team lacks', you want the mongrel, you take the odd stupid penalty in order to fire up. He's still young, he needs to learn when to go for big hits and when to play safe in defence and he will learn that in time, although to be fair its FPN who was more guilty of that last night then JWH.

JWH rushed out of the line and made a great aggressive tackle, knocked the ball out and lost the Storm 5-10 metres, tackled the man with the ball, then FPN came in with a swinging arm and gave away a penalty and a free interchange. In the following sets, JWH fell into the backline while FPN ran out of the line at 100mph from his own goal line just about and missed 3 shoulder charges, massive liability.
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

you refer to him as a "spaz who slaps" and a "white biatch" but i never see him take a backward step. he's always willing to mix it and test himself against established forwards.

very young and inexperienced but weve missed this kind of agression since morley. i seem to recall morley giving away plenty of penalties as well. he still has a lot to learn. i actually think he'd be better in the backrow.

I still can't see why that play the ball was a penalty. Dumb call by the ref. We were too close to the line and a try would have put us 6 behind. That is the only reason I can see for Delawhore calling it.

At the start of the season JWH gave away a few dumb penalties but I think he has learned from that. He adds some much needed mongrel to our pack. He would probably have greater impact playing second row than mixing it in the front row but with Kennedy, Masoe and Tasi injured, he is the one to step up. He is one of our forwards that doesn't go missing. If everyone of our players was fit, he would definately be in my 17.

BTW that ear pull by Blair cracked me up.

this is interesting, see for mine JWH is actually finally hitting his straps and becoming consistent. his workrate is way up and he is ripping in week in week out. he and franky are worth persisting with imo - we need the mongrel and the fire. provided you put guys around them who have steadiness to match we will be in business. I think we need our bench for next year to be:
                      14. Symonds
                      15. Ryles
                      16. JWH
                      17. FPN

Symonds to play the flannery utility role, Ryles and JWH working in tadem off the bench in dynamite and i think FPN is most effective in short spurts off the bench. maubs, friend at hooker and kennedy at prop are the only 3 i would guarantee spots in the starting pack. the rest of the spots are up for grabs/we need to sign players to fill them

The play the ball (like many others this season) was a penalty because he moved forward off the mark then tried to play the ball while simultaniously pushing the marker out of the way.

I admit the rule is dumb (I reckon you should keep possession when you cock up the play the ball and be told to do it again unless you have been doing it all night.) That said EVERYBODY knows that if you don't play it on the mark and don't go through the motion of putting the pill under your legs, rolling it backwards with your foot then you will instantly lose the ball.

In young Jared's case he placed the ball on the ground about 1m ahead of the mark, walked forward without playing it (didn't touch his foot) then he went and gave the marker a shove (although neither of them had the ball.)

Another poster is dead right in saying he never backs down... come again our schoolyard spazzo who keeps slapping the big kids and never backs down, instead choosing to dig a bigger grave. I know JWH has respect on this forum, so I'll leave it at that - just my honest opinion. Granted the flack guys like Mini are copping, I thought I'd shift the focus a bit during a game where Mini didn't play (because he was off on Origin duties ironically given what others say about his form...)

JWH has been one of our best in recent weeks. If anything, the errors he makes are from trying too hard.

Although FPN has been bagged extensively for his game last night, I think he was really putting in and just took it too far.

Although it back fired, I thought FPN and JWH were both trying hard to lift the team last night.

There are moments when I am cheering for JWH and calling him a legend.
There are other times when I am screaming at him calling him an idiot.

He is what he is and has alot of growing to do. He just needs to be managed effectively.

The problem is most of the squad need to be managed effectively and they aren't.

Justin Carney, Leilua, Friend, FPN and others make as many mistakes as JWH.

He has definitely improved his game this season.

Others need to go before JWH.
