I'd rather the club be upfront with me. It's up to Moa now to find some form.

Let's not forget that it was Robbo that initially believed in Sam and gave him another opportunity in the NRL.

I'd imagine Moa was earning around $50k a year before playing for the Roosters.

The only reason Robbo spoke of Sam was because he was specifically asked about him. In any event, I think he's comments are pretty innocuous. Sam will most likely want a two year contract but he might only be offered one and he might take it unless someone else comes in over the top.

If you are to accept the comments re our squad being settled for next year, I think Robbo has little chance but to offer Sam at least a one year extension. Look at the props we have atm:

JWH - No. 1 prop but is coming off a serious, long term injury.
Napa - No. 2.
Moa - No. 3 and off contract.
Evans - No. 4 and hasn't kicked on this year - but has obvious potential.

You could potentially call Issac a prop too but he's wasted there but is a much better 13, I think. But even if you include him, that's it. There's no one I can think of at under 20's level or at Wyong who could come in and do a job. Vincent Luelaui was promoising but he's off to Melbourne and Vunakece and Papalli are not first grade standard but only fill-ins. You need four solid full time props.

Spot on mate, I am not convinced Moa will be here next year, his best chance is going back to England.
