Souths kick our juniors out of comp

Im pretty sure you will find its part of the key criteria in holding an NRL license to fund local junior clubs. The Central Coast doesn't count either as they are viewed as a secondary junior funding for the club, something the NRL have been pushing more clubs to do.

I think we made a mistake when we split with the Jets, we needed to come up with some sort of mutually beneficial merger that saw us take their local junior clubs that currently play in the Souths comp.

Definitely agree with that! Both clubs prospered with the Jets as the feeder club, and if Roosters took aggressive steps to recover clubs stolen from them years ago and combined them with the existing ones and Newtown, they might be able to mount a decent competition.

I hate the word 'poaching' when it comes to players. If the kid loved South Sydney so much, he would've stayed there. And if Souths wanted to keep him that badly, they would've secured him. It is up to every team to sign players, and not every junior can play for their senior club. With a tiny junior base (through, as we all know, no fault of their own) what choice do the Roosters have?

There are a few and for many its not that they want to leave. Fat Richo is screwing up $ouff$ big time. He is refusing to sign good you $ouff$ juniors and only wants imports. Aparentlt there is quite a few staff wanting to get out as he destroys the club.

Smart move by Cook, of course he doesnt want to come off the bench. He is better than a bench player & will be a top pick up for up up Cronulla IMO.

I am hardly going to sit hear and name a bunch of 16 and 17 year old kids who are trying to get signed that are not public knowledge.
Its got alot more to do with Richardson not be willing to sign local kids than kids being unhappy but thats the facts.
Now you can sit there and continue to act like a complete dick or explain how its incorrect.
