Definitely agree with that! Both clubs prospered with the Jets as the feeder club, and if Roosters took aggressive steps to recover clubs stolen from them years ago and combined them with the existing ones and Newtown, they might be able to mount a decent competition.
I hate the word 'poaching' when it comes to players. If the kid loved South Sydney so much, he would've stayed there. And if Souths wanted to keep him that badly, they would've secured him. It is up to every team to sign players, and not every junior can play for their senior club. With a tiny junior base (through, as we all know, no fault of their own) what choice do the Roosters have?
