I'd welcome him here if true. IHMO th best FB in the game. We could afford him if Touzo, Copely were released,

The reports are that we will pay him over 1 mill a season. That may be BS, but if not I'd say we will have to do more than release Toups and Copley. I'd suggest Fergo might go as well as he would be on more coin than Mitchell, SKD. And Manu would be his replacement.

I'd love to have an injury free Teddy.

THE ROOSTERS are preparing to swoop on the hottest property in rugby league – Wests Tigers superstar James Tedesco.

Angry at their poor showing this season, the Roosters have targeted the Blues Origin fullback as the answer to their problems.
Tedesco comes off contract at the end of next season and the Roosters are set to offer him more than a million bucks a season – an amount the cash-strapped Tigers simply won’t be able to match.
The Roosters are even hoping there is an outside chance that they could nab Tedesco for 2017, although that appears unlikely with the Tigers not prepared to release their marquee man.
The decision to pursue Tedesco is an intriguing one given that the Roosters have signed Michael Gordon and also have two accomplished custodians in Latrell Mitchell and Blake Ferguson.
But Gordon is only signed for next season, Mitchell is also able to play on the wing and Ferguson has been solid in the centres

I dont think so. I think it would be silly because the Roosters would have to pay him over a million dollars a year when they already have probably the best up & coming fullback in the game.

Its a rare occurrence but im 100% with Mick on this one.

We have our own star and the priority must be to keep him long term.

                      Two words.

                      Martin Offiah.

No player is worth 1 million dollars. He has two ACL's and two PCL's just like the last picked interchange player in the S.G. Ball team.

                      SUPER DRAGON!

Plenty of players will be worth a million dollars after next season no matter how many ACL's or PCL's they have. Million dollar contracts will become the norm for the top players.

Exactly. And as they should be. The best players are worth every cent.

Agree. Why should a player retire at 32 (if he's lucky) with no life skills, 3 ankle opps, 1 knee and a shoulder reconstruction, while the likes of News Ltd execs earn big $ off the back of him?

The labour deserve the lion's share in this situation, without a doubt.
