I think you're probably right but it's a pretty common theme that after a poor season on the ladder Uncle Nick goes and out and buys a big player or 2.

Granted whilst we got some value out of Braith Anasta he's not really in the same class as the others mentioned but he was considered a star of the future at the time. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, there are a ridiculous amount of players coming off contract in 2017 and the salary cap will likely rise by 2 million dollars.

I feel like there's a little more stability and trust in what Trent Robinson is doing at the club internally than there has been since the Gus days but a big signing next year wouldn't surprise.

I think a couple of big signings are on the horizon for 2018 onwards.

The likes of Teddy, Moses, Jack Bird, Tohu Harris (an absolute fave of mine), Shaun Johnson and Taumalolo are all players we should target that we might have a chance of securing. There's some serious talent there.

I think it's apparent that we're clearing cap space for some serious maneuvering; hence why Keary only signed a one year deal.

Exciting times ahead at least.

Pre back injury, yes . I should of added though he also has the ability to link up with outside men, has a great pass on him under pressure and normally finds his targett. IMO he has Mini covered in this department, though Mini did throw that beautiful ball to SKD in the 2013 GF.

I believe Tedesco shares an agent with Farah, Sam Ayoub. Apparently Ayoub and Uncle Nick are quite close, I think the Farah links earlier this year was a ploy to get Tedesco too (just my opinion).

My main point is, after the way Farah was treated I can't imagine Ayoub would advise his players to show loyalty there. I think the only road block to Tedesco joining the Roosters would be the fact that he is genuinely best mates with both Moses and Brooks.

Well, Moses was apparently close to a done deal. But they then signed Keary for 2 years, so there isn't really a place for Moses (unless someone else is given the flick).
