Congrats guys into the penultimate..

I must say these toy cup games are so frustrating to watch.

Minimal defence and poor common sense footy options...and they all do it.

If any coach of these youngsters can get a solid team defence together and good support play/draw and pass skills their team would kill it.

Such a gulf to top grade or even nsw cup standard...some talented individials nonetheless who will shine in time.

They're kids mate, what do you really expect?

I thought our defence was outstanding in the back end when the game was on the line. The players just kept turning up and scrambling, there were a few times when the Sharks looked like they had created something and our desperation shut it down. If they can take that attitude into next week they are a real chance. Saints have some real strike players in their team in particular their 6 and 1. Will need to be on our game and limit their chances

Rugby League, for it's own benefit , needs a proper reserve grade comp.
Not that the bean-counters will ever care whats actually good for the game.
