Hey redwhiteblue, how were you feeling last year when the broncos where literally seconds from a premiership (assuming you watched the GF) ,where you still confident? I'm just curious.

Are you sure you're not seeing the roosters for next year? lol
I actually don't watch much NRL anymore, only our games, after that Remi Casty no try incident. That was the breaking point for me. I did flick last years' grand final on around the 61st minute and Brisbane were leading but I was still convinced that Nth Qld were going to win. I went to bed with a really bad migraine and had a dream that the Cowboys won. I woke up and checked the NRL website and the rest they say is history...

        That's amazing. Awesome.......

It's a shame that the officiating of games is turning many people away from the NRL. There are just Too mAny damn mistakes. Worse now with the bunker.
At least you still watch the roosters games. I considered giving away the NRL all together. The officiating is inconsistent team against team, and from week to week, and game to game

I'm convinced that the NRL will be doing everything in their power to help Cronulla win.
It's the redemption story they badly want after the scandals of the past few years, much like the Dogs redemption story they wanted and got in 2004....

Pee Gee..I gather this doesn't stand for Paul Gallen?

The bunker is just bunkham! I will always watch our games, as excruciating as some of them have been this year, but that is part of being a true supporter. You have to take the good with the bad no matter what. My access is still playing up so I will bid everyone farewell as I won't be able to log in anymore..I'm always happy for people to prove me wrong with my predictions! Feel free to mock me if Cronulla do not win..I won't be able to reply anyway!

It's a shame you won't be on line from time to time.

Sharks will prob win, but...,.Manly for 2017 is a worry.

i watch our games if i don't attend however i only watch with no audio. As for this years final series i have boycotted it by not watching as my little protest towards the NRL management and their unfair treatment to our club management and team.I was down the stadium yesterday and they had some old games on - the style of game where the attacking team had to be 5 metres back from the play the ball was great. play was deeper and more one on one tackles and such a open game but so much niggle and no emphasis on a quick play the ball..

Anyone who thinks we're treated unfairly by the NRL or by the "game managers" has rocks in their head.

We were treated grossly unfairly between 2013-2015 by the refs, and that's a statistical fact.

I also believe the NRL didn't stand in the way of an unfair wave of momentum in Souffs favour in 2014. The refs rode them home hard. The fact they received 219 penalties that year (by far the most) and we received a paltry 135 (the fewest) is a glaring statistic. An extra 84 penalties despite 27 games played each. That is clear evidence of underlying bias imo.

Again, I don't believe there was an overt agenda from the NRL. But they didn't hide the fact that they would have been happy for Souffs to win; an attitude which clearly filtered down into the referee circles.

I defy anyone who disputes this to justify such a disparity in penalties.

That being said, I certainly don't buy into the conspiracy that the NRL choose a team every year they want to win and make it happen. That's a stretch way too far.

Does Robbo have rocks in his head?

I felt his rant against Ben Cummins was quite justified.

Some of the decisions this year against us were aweful.

But what really gets me are the inconsistencies and interpretations; from ref to ref, team to team, and week to week. And then there are the glaringly obvious howlers of decisions.

Look at the titans broncos semi this year. I'm not saying there was purposeful favouritism of the broncos, But the decisions made it look like that. Social networking went into meltdown. Archer and the NRL even admitted the officials calls affected the result.

That's what I'm talking about. No replaying of that game. Bye bye Titans.
