That win really made my day! Just when I didn't think much would. Go easts.

Yep same here, watched the game and didn't give up when they were down 6-28, got a bit emotional at the end and shed a few tears, later on ironed a Roosters t shirt to wear out and went up to the Bank Hotel to have a drink before heading out for dinner and totally ignored the first grade game and it was all over when I got home, the u20s really brightened my day

I'm suprised how many people don't watch the main GF if there team is not in it, i thought it was a great match.

I have never heard of an afl fan not wanting to watch the AFL GF if there team is not in it, or most other sports on their big day.

Gee there must be some fans out there that have never watched an NRL Grand final at all.

On a side note, Hasting proves what an egomaniac he really is.

He has a photo of himself on instagram with the trophy with the caption 'ended in being a winner'. He is dressed in a playing jersey and shorts! You'd think he played in the actual game! FFS no wonder he gets the reputation for being a tosser.

"The comeback story of the Century"... I'm sure some newspaper would be using that headline today.

That is only the 2nd Grand Final that I can remember not watching since I followed football, the other was Storm vs Merge back in 1999, I almost always enjoy watching the Grand Final even when my team is not in it but could not buy into possible fairy tale of the Sharks or the wrestling Storm so decided a nice dinner out away from tv screens would do me this year.
