I hope & I think Robbo would hope that he brings all his grubbiness/mongrel with him because IMO you need 2 or 3 of them in your team.
Plenty of people say to me that JWH is a grub & I love it, I love when JWS gets physical using his head on opposition players. I wish Napa would be more grubby & play it dirty with his tackling technique coming in over the top & hitting the jaw or chin flush of the opposition player. You need these type of blokes in your side its a physical violent game & having big tough grubs is the go.

Ennis was a pest who used his mouth to instigate trouble & then would hide behind one of his own players. A grubby player does things like dives down on a player who is lying on the ground in a surrender tackle (Sammy Burgess style) or comes in high & belts a bloke flush on the chin with his forearm (Adrian Morley/Adam Blair style) or puts all their body weight with their knee in the back of an opposition players calf (Melbourne Storm style).

Really can't agree with you on this one Mickie. Playing with some mongrel is different to being a grub. Ruben Wiki and Adrian Morley played with mongrel. Sure, they occasionally got it wrong and hit a bloke high. But to my recollection there was never any intent to injure a player. Blokes that eye gouge, squirrel grip, elbow, chicken wing or attack the legs are grubs. Why? Because they do it even though they know there is a real danger of serious injury. No grubs at Easts, please.

Absolutely correct mate.

JWH and Napa are cast from a similar cloth, both occasionally get their tackles wrong as all tough forwards do but there is no malice in them. Just wished Napa would fire up more often like JWH does and Morley used to. When he and JWH are on they are the best tag team in the comp.
