I think our team for next year looks shit and we will struggle to finish any higher than this year. If Cords or JWH go down we are screwed.
I am still hoping for a gun signing this off season because we surely need it.

Easts top team for 2017 would have Latrell Mitchell at FB IMO & if he improves his goal kicking over the off season he should be the goal kicker.
SKD & Tupou on the wings
Fergusson & Manu or Copley in the centres.
Keary & Pearce (vc) in the halves.
SST if he is fit at lock or otherwise Tetevano.
Cordner (c) & Aubusson backrowers.
JWH & Napa
Jake Friend

Liu, Evans, Guerra all playing as tight forward replacements.
Watson utility.

Sam Tagataese would be a great buy to add to the bench for Evans.

I won't be surprised if Nat Butcher makes the 13 jumper his next season. I know he's young and I know it's 20's form, but he has something about him. He reminds me of a young Paul Gallen in his build and the style he plays. I think he showed enough in his debut game against the Broncos to suggest he can handle it and the coach and players seem to have a massive opinion of him.

Gotta agree with you there. Having Butcher come in would negate having to use Matterson.

I also see SKD as a winger now more than a centre. A bit more time & I think that he & Fergo could form a lethal combination. Toops I'd be happy to see replaced by Manu. Copley wouldn't be any loss

I think that Tetevano will be up in 1st's pretty soon.

I, for one, no longer wish to see the traffic accident of SKD and Toupo paired together. Get rid of Toupo please.

In Fergo, Toupo and Latrell we have too many errors in us waiting to happen. I can forgive Latrell being young and inexperienced, SKD for consistently being Rocks and Diamonds and for his Rooster passion so something needs to give elsewhere.

Also, it obvious we have surplus players for next year: too many halves and please piss off Guera or give him a series of uppercuts. Evans not far behind

Your team has a midget backrow. I doubt we will go with both Carter and Butcher in the starting side. Carter is a liability with handling errors and penalties, he will be a backup player only for our starting 17.
