  • Peter O'Sullivan cops indefinite ban from NRL

Roosters recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan has copped an indefinite ban after the NRL deemed he wasn't a fit and proper person for registration.
The sanction against O'Sullivan, one of the best talent spotters in the game, relates at least in part to his association with notorious punter and brothel owner Eddie Hayson.

            Tommy, not good if guilty.

The NRL has many sets of unwritten rules.

            Here's two:
            1. Players First over Administrators and Coaches. Players are the stars and assets of the game.
            2. There are players and then there are "Players" or as I call them, "the untouchables"

I'm still buggered to understand how Cam Smith escaped Punishment at the Storm scandal. What part of driving his undeclared cruiser around Port Philip Bay means he got off scott free? Also stuffed if I'll ever understand how Thurston et al escaped punishment at Coffs.

Each and every case drives yet another nail into the NRL's credibility coffin.

Foran will play - bet your house on it

I was staggered when that idiot Greenberg replied to a question comparing Mitchell Pearce incident/punishment with James Roberts that they don't compare these things and treat them on their own as a single case. In other words, they are not even trying to be consistent.

That Mitchell Pearce suspension was totally unjustified and killed any chance of us having a good season. Then as an extra kick in the balls James Roberts doesn't even miss a game.

And I also have no doubt Foran will play. If I was a conspiracy-theorist I would say that the NRL are desperate for Jim Doyle's Worriers to succeed. Having the Kiwi Test Spine will be a nice start.
