  • Aubusson and Linnett Injuries

According to the injury updates on the club website, Aubusson has undergone surgery and is out for the season. It has Linnett's return at Round 17. Kennedy is out for the season and Masoe is to be re-assessed around now.

Maubs has had a shoulder reconstruction so he is gone for the season

as for Linnett not entirely sure, because he is off contract at the end of the year maybe the club want him to come back and play before deciding whether to extend his contract, although at some point he will need a shoulder reconstruction.

If he comes through then I expect J Carney to be running around Henson soon.

Very interesting. Also interesting to see Phil the farking dill Graham playing for the Jets. Has he been injured? Even with all of our injuries he has not had a sniff of first grade for quite some time. Anyone know the story?

I guess with Aubusson undergoing surgery it confirms that the club believes we are out of finals contention and see no point in rushing him back.

For mine Kane Linnett has shown enough to be given another contract either 1-2 years. Its dissapointing that Mitchel Aubbuson is out for the season but a shoulder reco and a full off-season to add more muscle to the same shoulder should give him more confidence heading into 2012.

My concern for Maubs is where he fits in next season.

I would play him at lock but I know it won't happen.

Absolutely. We'd be stupid to let him go.

I think he's generally over-rated at this point in time amongst Roosters fans - primarily because we haven't had a good young centre for about 100 years. Not to say that he won't make it, but he does need to show more before I'll be sold

I'm not a fan of Phil the farking dill, but I would have him in the centres ahead of Carney or Mataka.

I think there is a great chance for Maubs to play Lock Forward in the mould of a Luke Lewis. He can cause trouble on the fringes and through the middle he just needs to bulk up and get his body right. He definitely shouldn't be shifted to the Centres.

As for Kane Linnett he has been unlucky this season with selection and injury, i think another year and off-season would do him the world of good. I dont know if he will be our long term centre with SKD as i think BJ should be moved in further but he is worthy of another year.

I think Tasi will be a permanent next year at the expense of FPN or Symonds.

I hate to admit it but I agree mate. With so many injuries Phil the farking Dill could just come in handy. I thought Mataka looked great when he played in the forwards but he was awful in the centres. Justin Carney seemed to be improving a little but he makes too many stupid errors and lacks consistency. He came up with some good defence against the Warriors and then followed up by playing like a spastic against Melbourne.
