  • Brenden Santi Joins Roosters

Sad news for the @TsvBlackhawks but exciting for Brenden Santi, who's agreed to join @sydneyroosters in @NRL next season @7NewsTownsville

    Interesting signing on 2 fronts.

One, he was a very talented kid who just couldn't seem to get a consistent run in First Grade, but the talent is there. Two he's an odd backrower very much in a similar mould to Aidan Guerra.

I'd suggest he's been signed as a fringe player but I like signings like this, they don't always work out but there's a handful of players in our top 17 who prove they're worth the chance.

Agreed, he's got some talent and wont be on much money, definitely worth the chance.

Better signing than old hacks like Willie Manu etc

Give him time - there's still a few months to go to get a criminal past
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
            It's called experience.

He was a standout in NYC for a few seasons and carried it on in NSW cup but for some reason didn't get his chance with the Tigers NRL team. He is a strange talent but a handy one.

Was a young Tiges gun, poached by Eels and failed, returned to Tiges with little impact.. Its make or brake for him this coming season.. No more No less..

Better not have more than a couple drinks at a private party on private property or else....
                    Is that the full story,

Santi??? We should have waited another 6 weeks weeks and signed Santa instead. Then again we have reached our limit on myths...we already have one in the number 7 hehe.

A mate from the Tigers said to me that he was meant to be a talent but was bog ordinary when he played. He kept on ranting on about how crap he and that Buchanan were.

Hoping for a better season from him but not enthused at all.

I remember this guy in NYC, was like a second rate Jack Bosden. I would be surprised if he kicks on at the Roosters.
