Surely SKD has played his last game for NZ, he was woeful all tournament.

        Fergo Player of the Tour.

        Well played.

Though he can't be on the wing for us that's a waste.

Hope he doesn't bring that shit back to us. As mentioned above, our backline is full of wingers. Throw Copley and tupou in there. I'd be happy to blood manu in the centres next season.

The Kiwi's were awful. SKD made 2 mistakes, dropped a ball and threw a bad pass. It was his best game he has all series and he made more meters than any other Kiwi,... They better get rid of Kidwell quickly, Harris is not a 5/8, would've been better having Kahu at 5/8th and put Rapana at fullback and bring in Beale on the wing. Johnson had no chance Australia were on him all game.

Actually thought it was SKD's best game of the tournament, which sort of shows you how bad he's been for the Kiwi's over this past month.
Perhaps 'best' game is not the right word, 'not as bad' as his other games is a better description. He certainly was trying hard and to his credit had a much higher involvement in the game than his other backline kiwi team mates. But it certainly hasn't been happening for him in this tournament.

Thats the worst series from a Kiwi side in a long time.

Kidwell must already be on thin ice.

Can't really blame the coach. What do they expect with tohu harris at 5/8? He might get away with it at club level but not against Australia. Keiren foran would have made a world of difference.

Hopefully this tour has helped Fergo get a bit of his mojo and mongrel back.

on that short field they sure could have done with a fit rts!
put foram into thew mnix and youve suddenly got a descent side, and of course a fit jwh

He doesn't need mongrel. He needs to find his footwork. He's not built to run over people. Since his ankle problem he's lost all lateral speed and rarely steps. The most he can do is to build up speed and then slightly swerve. This is where we miss jenko.

I don't know whether it is physical or mental. Those injuries might have scarred his confidence. Joey Manu has a great step, his defense though is still mediocre but I would like to see him given a shot in the Centre's sooner than later.
