I'm as disappointed with Gus as I am with SOME of the players. I have never seen a game,Roosters or any team, where every player
performed badly....there are always a few giving it their all, and not having the natural talent to be game-breakers!
Gus made excuses for Anasta a couple of times......a public declaration of interest.
Yes, we had the usual bad decisions, but yes....mostly we were lacking any spirit. Half expected the doctor to
come out and check a few for vital signs.
But...yes....I'll be there on Monday because to me, my team's performance is like life. It doesn't always go the way you dreamed
and planned for, but you are part of it and always hoping for things to improve.

I'd prefer to be in the finals season after season and not win anything, than be regular contenders for the spoon.

One thing I agreed with that Gus said - if we click, we win. He's right.

But, as I've said before, the Channel 9 coverage of the sport is a disgrace...the sooner 10/ABC in conjunction with Fox monopolise the coverage the better.
