Mitchell does not have the stamina to play fullback at this stage of his career. I would never know this but a teammate of his told this to a friend of mine.

I wonder whether weight issue will haunt him through his career and thus impede him from playing at fullback.

For the first few years probably, his weight will probably stabilize as he gets older and gets used to keeping it under control, it's not an easy thing to learn.

They will play on opposites sides of the field to each other. I would worry more about who will be the second rower next to Latrell who will probably be Cords so he should be in pretty goodhands. Also the half or 5/8 which will defend on the left side will have an impact.

Yeh it's Bird they want big time. Cronulla can match what we offer under the salary cap, but they can't get near us when it comes to 3rd party extras.Politis has been beating the drums and putting pressure on his Chairmans club members and business associates to come to the party. Yeah thats what I think, Jack Bird to the Roosters in 2018.
I told my brother a couple of weeks ago that the Roosters will go real hard for Jack Bird, he would be a better buy then Tedesco. Bird is the next big thing in the game. He will be a rep player for 10 years & I believe he will be in another premiership winning team.
