$200,000 for Anasta to announce his engagement
Roosters skipper Braith Anasta is being offered $200,000 for the first rights to pictures of his engagement to television beauty Jodi Gordon

Roosters skipper Braith Anasta is going through life-changing experiences these days. With a series of rumours concentrating on his sporting career and speculation he is soon to become engaged to stunning actress girlfriend Jodi Gordon, it seems the Greek Australian NRL veteran has a lot to look forward to.

According to reports, Anasta is about to launch a professional golfing career by playing in the NSW Open and NSW PGA championships during the off-season. As The Telegraph reports, Anasta has accepted a wild-card for both tournaments but is yet to make an announcement because it still has to be cleared with Roosters coach Brian Smith.

As far as his engagement is concerned, Anasta's manager Greg Willett could not hide the fact that he was chasing an announcement deal with the glossy magazines. A figure of $200,000 was mentioned for a joint interview with Anasta's and Gordon and a series of exclusive pictures with the ring. The couple have been one of the Harbour City's hottest items for several years, after she recovered from her split with Channel 7 heir Ryan Stokes and overcame a legal issue when she was found cowering in the bedroom of Kings Cross identity Mark Judge. The engagement news will not come as a shock to Anasta's Roosters teammates, who have known for some time that their skipper had long-term plans for the relationship.

One can hardly blame him, it's bloody cold out by the Nepean River, the water ripples from passing boats are rather small, it just doesn't match up to a fat contract in the Eastern suburbs, head wobbling around, playing golf and performing sh*t.

I'm beginning to think he's the worst buy this club has ever made.

And that includes a whole lot of shit.

Dude, he got us into the GF last year. He played and led the team superbly.

The team's hopeless performance this year does not all come down to him.

Worst buy ever? Give me a break.
