  • The STATS dont lie!! Newspapers do

What a disgusting year thus far. Its going to be a long wait till next April.

But what is peeving me off the most is the medias coverage of our pathetic form. PEARCE AND ANASTA ARE BULLET PROOF IN THE MEDIA.

WHAT THE HELL!! Every article you read about us you see a crappy little line about Pearce trying soo hard and everybody else letting him down.

Puhhleasssee!! He has missed 41 tackles this year whereas the average for NRL players in 2011 is 15.8.

He has made 13 errors this year, average for NRL players is 5.7.

Not to mention his 1000 hospital passes and hopeless kicks.

Can somebody please explain to me how this guy makes origin? Ok his father is connected and is even on the new commissions board but common you cant polish a turd!!

Oh yeah, Mitchell is TERRIBLE on those stats! If you're going to do a comparison, make sure you do it right.

What's the average for halfbacks? Jake is probably up there with mis tackles because he makes 60 a game

I'd like to see the stats for one on one tackles.

He would be doing OK I reckon.

Bwa$ftaker is the ultimate media whore. When he kept on winning the most overrated players award (MOPA) he cunninly reconstucted it by claiming his peers were jealous.

He wouldn't be a great centre then.

Maybe, just maybe he's just not good enough?

Coincidence that he looks a LOT better playing with an Origin team?

I don't think most fans view the game in the same way that coaches/selectors do because they lack the technical knowledge of the game. Anybody can pull out stats and say they support any argument - fact is when you look at his game, Pearce ticks all the boxes for a rep player. He wouldn't be playing Origin and carving up at that level if he wasn't good enough...

When I see tries like Hoppa's then all I can think is "FAAAAAARK PEARCE IS GOOD!!!" When he does the same kicks for the Chooks he looks silly because nobody chases, takes the ball and turns it into a try. I betcha selectors look at his kicks and go "FAAAARK IF BJ LEILUA COULD RUN AND DO SOME FANCY ACROBATICS THEN THAT WOULD BE A TRY!!! ORIGIN QUALITY KICK!!!"

Instead we see kicks, nobody in the right position, nobody reading the play and nobody doing crazy acrobatics to finish it off. When that happens, any little mistakes you have made get rubbed over by the fans. When it doesn't, you cop the blame regardless of how good your kicks were in a technical sense.

If you're a half, it goes without saying that you're going to look better at Origin level with quality all around you

The really good halves dominate at club level

Mitch hasn't dominated at club level ever

Chris, Mitchell Pearce is supposed to be a DEFENSE ORIENTATED HALFBACK. Well thats what everyone tells me when i bag him out about his lack of try assists. Thurston, lockyer, soward ECT all make up for their few missed tackles TENFOLD with their attack.

Pearce lacks in all departments. He is a defensive half although his stats show he is below average in defense.

Chris you can keep making excuses for this guy, your probably associated with him and good luck to you, but i care about my team, not a legends son. Give littlejohn a go already.

Im sick of pearces position in our team being a taboo topic. He is just another player to me.

lol at "dominated at origin level"

He has played 8 origins for 1 win. It is the worst record of any player to ever play more than 5 games for NSW.

Give littlejon a go he is carving up.
