Pretty much the entire team is sh1t this year including Pearce and more notably Carney. The press conferences are also a joke because the coach and captain come across as having no idea and even worse, deluded. The stats show a team that is as clueless in attack as they are heavily penalised and much of the responsibility for these things has to be shared by both coaching staff and players.

Oh yeah, Mitchell is TERRIBLE on those stats! If you're going to do a comparison, make sure you do it right.
So could yourself or someone else please supply the stats for repeat sets and try assists.

He has played 8 origins for 1 win. It is the worst record of any player to ever play more than 5 games for NSW.
Give littlejon a go he is carving up.
Littlejohn, is that you?
The 20s halves we have are deadset hopeless.

Plus pearce has had 4+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
Even Sandow looks better
Soward at 22 was a reserve grader at Easts. (you do know he's 26, right?)
Carney at 22 was a hot and cold superstar for Canberra.
Benji was very inconsistent at 22.
Cherry Evans has played 15 first grade matches, Mortimer was the next coming of Sterlo after 15 matches also.
Foran I'm a massive fan of, Manly haven't beaten anyone in the top 5 other than the Broncos without their Origin players though - smashed by Dragons, Melbourne and Cowboys.
Try again.....

plenty more if that doesn't "enlighten" you
Mortimer - same story.
Barrett - 0 premierships, how dominating.
Johns - 4th season of first grade before he started dominating.
Keep trying.

Thurston's return to Queensland proved to be a turning point in his career, he instantly became the starting halfback for the Cowboys, and his consistency earned him his first Queensland State of Origin jersey. In his first match he was voted Player's Player after being in the top 4 tacklers and kicking an amazing field goal to force the game into extra time. At a club level Thurston played an integral part in guiding North Queensland to the 2005 Grand Final, the first Grand Final appearance for the club. Unfortunately for Thurston, they lost 30–16 to the Wests Tigers, ending Thurston's chance of winning two consecutive Grand Finals. His disappointment would not last for too long as he was awarded the Halfback of the Year award and the prestigious Dally M Medal for 2005's Player of the Year.
THIS WAS HIS FIRST SEASON IN FIRST GRADE AS A STARTER
Benji was an absolute superstar at 22 and had won his first premiership at 20 where he played a MASSIVE part in the GF, he didnt go missing like baby pearce.
Carney has been a FREAK since his debut. Only off field dramas have derailed him. For you to say he was a hot/cold player for canberra proves you know NOTHING about his career prior to his signing with us.
Soward was definitely the one who got away... And its sad that waynes son kept him out of first grade and he eventually left. Id trade pearce and anasta for Soward in an instant.
How about you TRY AGAIN

Bringing who Manly (the current seconf favourites for the comp) have or haven't beaten into it
Foran has dominated the game at club level this season
Pearce never has
Pearce wouldn't even be playing Origin if Foran was from NSW

HAHA you are confused my friend. Waynes Son made his debut in 2007 and has racked up 95 first grade games + Origin + Finals experience.
U want to give him another 100 games to become a "dominating half"
YOU CANT POLISH A TURD

littlejohno is it hard using 2 accounts and switching back and forth to tony the wheel or are you used to it by now. Jesus some people are so blinded by their own opinions, if you can't stand up and admit Pearce was dominating in origin II when he had a brilliant team around him, and outshone Soward in every aspect by a mile, then you haven't a farking idea what you're talking about son.I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

I remember a game against Newcastle where Josh Lewis made Andrew Johns look ordinary.
Then Johns took him out in a dog act you'd expect from a drug cheat.
August 6th 2006 - up in Gosford.
I remind everyone that we had a chance to get Thurston but the guy he's going to embarrass next Wednesday (Pricky Stuart) said no.

Why blame one person? Last year no one was complaining about Pearce. Give it a rest, the whole team is playing poor. We would still be shit if we had Thurston in our team.
Right now we have no heart and passion. only players that look like they are trying are Pearce, Friend and JWH)
