Thurston & Johns were late bloomers, very erratic and inconsistant early on. Got better with age!

Carney has yet to fully reach his potential. We got a glimpse last year what he is capable of. Maybe 2012.

Although he is playing Origin (because of the lack of 5/8's around!), Soward will always be an average first grader. Nothing more!

The 60 tackles per game sounds good but tackles are allocated to him when there is normally 2 or more fowards in the tackle, attacking forwards are spotting Friend who give him the high tackling numbers, Friend may be too small for when he does make the tackle he will usually concede 5 metres in spite of other defenders who seem to find it hard to get hands on the attacking player because of the presence of Friends body hanging on as he is marched backward.

Personally, my disappointment is with Pearce's development. Sure he's 22~ but he's been through the grind of the season 4 times now and he still lacks the natural instinct, skill and finesse of a great half-back. He will always be there in games but rarely does he grab it by the scruff of the neck
