All these people excited about Kheirrelah getting a run. As soon as he fails to set the world on fire, they will be bashing him!

I think the reason people are getting excited is because it gives us a better reason to put ourselves through it all again this weekend. I'm mainly interested in his selection because it may give us a little bit more unpredictability in attack. Overall, I think most roosters players that have debuted this year have been pretty solid if not impressive. And it seems like they're willing to put in more than our experienced players (eg. Cordner, Arona, Tasi, Pritchard). Hopefully the trend continues.

He looked well below par in the trial against the Tigers.

I'm tipping that will be the case on Monday.

In defence yes I agree completely. But from memory Mini was trying to run the show that night. He was standing at first or second receiver late in the count every set. Kheirallah will be a lot more involved from fullback and won't be in the front line in defence.

I think back to Naughton. So many people were bagging Smith for not giving him a run. And when he did, they started bagging Naughton for not being first grade material. Happens a lot around here

Linnet either starts or it's a pointless choice on the bench

He won't play from the bench

Has any team in history gone from wooden spoon- grand finalists- wooden spoon again? Might be quite an achievement!!!

It is a stinging (and sad) inditement of the Roosters at all levels that there is even a slight possibility of this unwanted achievement.
I just can't get excited about this team any more but I'll probably be there on Monday night anyway because I'm an idiot.
