61 minutes gone - Huge one on one hit by Linday Collins from the ensuing kick off forces the turnover Wyong o the attack but ruin it with a blatant obstruction play.

Very impressed by Collins so far.

Also is the grandson of a player I remember seeing (which makes me feel very old) - Lionel Williamson, an international winger who played for the Bluebags.
The Chooks bought him from the Broncos. He was also chased by yawnyon & AFL.

68 minutes gone - Manly bust wyong up the middle and go 70m untouched to score. Roos just not in this game since half time. 40- 10 MANLY

The fullback for Wyong probably the most impressive despite dropping a bomb early on. Very elusive and has had some very nice touches.

77 minutes gone - Lindsay Collins charges onto a ball 12 metres out and just carries a couple of defenders to the line as he gets the ball down.

This kid is good! Some really impressive carries and some really big defensive hits. Keen to see more of him.

          40-16 MANLY

            FULL TIME - MANLY 40 ROOS 16

Very impressed by Lindsay Collins he has thrown his name into the First Grade discussion for me. I'd still like to see some more of him before saying he is ready but he couldn't have done much more today.

The fullback was very lively and about the only bright spark for the Roos in attack.

Number 8 also had a good game, not as big as Collins but more than held his own in the contact.

Also like a few bits of play from the Number 12, would like to see how he goes on a dry track when he would see some more quality ball.

Shaq Mitchell threw two of the best offloads you will see this season just needs to get his conditioning right. Not sure he ever will though..

JTS was strong as usual on yardage carries, very strong upper body and powerful leg drive. Wouldnt surprise me if we see him in FG this year due to injury/rep selection.

Anyone know why Mitchell Pearce has been withdrawn for tonight? Official reason is to rest him to ensure he is ready for Rd1. It's the strongest backline we can field except for Pearce so I'm surprised. Unless he has a training injury?

No idea JC. Could be injury; could be he may be playing a fresh style in halves this year and don't wish to share.

Could also be Watson given his chance to prove #3 half option
