I've said it before and I'll say it again - and this applies to every top club and holds true every year - but if our 6, 7, 9 & Jwh and Cordner all play 20+ games we'll go a long way towards winning the Premiership.

We more than anyone know how crucial injuries are. I've no doubt that we were going to romp to the 2015 Premiership before that cruel double injury blow struck.

Our forwards and team were so far ahead of the rest that year it wasn't funny. Everyone knew it.

The good news is that our pack this year is just as good. And Keary/Pearce with our 3/4s could be devastating.

If we have a good run with injuries like the Cowboys did in 2015 then we'll be very hard to beat.

This place has come to life recently after heading into the pre season, which is a nice warm up into rd 1. No players suspended, only waiting on SST in rd 5. Quite contrasting to 12 months ago.

That feeling of optimism in the air for all perennial march premiers except Newcastle the poor bastards.

Enjoy it all, cause in 2 weeks this forum could delve right into madness with our first loss. I await the meltdowns but hope we have a bloody good year.

So us the Gold Coast, members on the Gold Coast who will be going to the Roosters Verse the Tittans game on the 4th of March 2017 will not be having a members meet and greet with the team. This is due to two things. One being that Trent has changed his out of state game preperations. Trent has chosen to train at home (Sydney) then fly to the destination later than usual. For the members the meet and greet at these events will following the game.(the next day). The other contributing factor is the Roosters also have a 5 day turn around. Two five day turn arounds in the first four rounds. I hope this has cleared things up a little.

Im fired up!! I will be at the Titans game and just hope its not a repeat of last year. Out of all the Chooks games I have seen live I think last season at the Gold Coast was the most lacklustre I have witnessed. Just never in it. But its a new season and plenty to prove.
