    It's funny.

A few weeks ago I was not interested in this season at all.

A combination of how terrible last season was for us and the officials (especially the bunker) meant I couldn't care less.

What a difference the Nines win and some good reports coming out of the Manly trial have made.

Now I am counting the minutes until we put the cleaners through the Gold Coast imposters next weekend.

    Can't wait.

    GO EASTS!

Its very tempting but I wont reply to that last post by boogie because it will derail this thread.
I tell ya Im showing great discipline not replying with a one liner to that.
And like you Johnny Tobin I am really looking forward to watching the Roosters in Rd 1.

      Go the MIGHTY CHOOKS

looking forward to the season very much JT. We have a lot of depth in the pigs and think our halves will kill it. We also have points in us this year with a brilliant but defensively suspect three quarter line. But then most three quarter lines are defensively suspect such is the nature of the game and the athletes that play it these days.

Dont think one poster will be around for much longer

Good on you Johnny Tobin. Much better to read some positive thoughts rather than gloom n doom.

By the way, a couple of weeks back I thought we would need everything to go well for us to make the finals. Now I think everything would have to go bad for us not to. I fully expect to make the finals and I think with some real luck we could be top four.

Of course, I could come crashing down like an addict going cold turkey when it gets underway.

I was talkingt to a bloke today that has done work for Souffs and the Roosters.for a few years now. He said he hasn't seen the Roosters this upbeat for a while.
His other point was Keary has fitted in and is laughing and smiling. When he was at Souffs he never saw Keary smile once.

I can't wait for it either. It's been almost 6 months for us and that's way to long for me.

I'm not just exited to see the mighty Roosters playing again but every other team as well. I actually watch every game live every week and can't wait to see those imposters the Sharks implode this year. If ever there was a claytons premiership club, it's them (and maybe Souths in 2014).

There has been a lot of player movement and I'm looking forward to seeing how players like a Bunji Marshall fit into their new clubs.

I'm also looking forward to a fit and healthy, nearly full strength Roosters side and seeing what damage we can do for the first few months. If we get a decent start we will only build from there and after that, anything is possible.

                        Can't wait.

I know they say every year that there is a special feeling but this time seems to be different. I have heard Pearce and Keary are really killing it together in every way.
