After a chat to Masoud and John Lee today, I can confirm that Tedesco was just a hype beat up... but Jack Bird is on the radar.

I'm still not a Tedesco fan anyway. Nothing lost as far as I'm concerned. I'm very happy that he duded the Raiders as Jack Wighton has been excellent for them.

Where would you play Jack Bird anyway? Who would miss out if he came on board?

What happens if Keary and Pearce absolutely kill it?

You wouldnt pay mega bucks for a non spine player unless Robbo reckons Bird could be an x factor player like SBW was. But for that to happen he would have to.have a roving backrow role like SBW did but he aint even half of SBW. The money he commands is too much to play centre or a second row on one edge.

Disagree with you re Tedesco, while I am happy he wont come here, we have our own budding superstar in Latrell, Teddy is an out and out superstar who may be one of the games greats in 8-10 years. Hopefully so is Latrell.

Muckie, I'm hoping Pearce and Keary do kill it. I said in another thread that I hope the combo can be as good as Pearce/Maloney. I always thought Jimmy was probably our most crucial signing of the past 5 or so years and there's no doubting we missed him last year. The SBWs of the world can be brilliant but if they aren't getting quality ball from the halves then no matter how good they are, they can't fire.

Do tell more Mickie. I'm not sure who you are referring to but I would have thought the moderators would know if a user has a double identity as they can tell from the IP address or something.
