Going up to the gold coast game, just wondering what is the best seats to get for us roosters & whats everyone doing up there? is there somewhere we can all meet up?

I'll be there - be using my interstate membership tickets - away supporters are normally in the corner - i guess it would be South East corner but not sure of that.
Hope to get there in time for the under 20's game - i think it starts at 5.45pm - not sure if that's Daylight savings time though.

I'm exited to see Keary & Gordon play for us. I always hated Keary playing for the vermin because in his day, he can really change a game. Not sure if he can fully replace Maloney, but he might be a decent replacement. As for Gordon, he might not be flamboyant like a Slater but he's safe and knows his role, something that Fergo or Mitchell failed last year...

Yeah Fergos a brick wall in defence...rolls eyes.

Not sure where Lattrell got a sus dee tag on his resume...he is ok it's just the positional play in the centres the coaches need to firm up esp with a dodgy winger outside.

Mitchell is a very good tackler,hes got some mongrel in him,watch a few of the games hes played last year he will smash you if you run at him.Jacks right he just needs to work on his defensive positional plays.No big deal he is only a kid,defense can be taught and he is by all accounts a very quick learner.There will be plenty of cover sliding across,Cordner and auberson are great cover defenders probably the best in the comp.

Been years since I've been ................One stage I was thinking Salvo and Halls farewell was it, but I did attend the monday night game when Ian Moss played ......can't think what preceded what atm.

I do know what you mean about Fergo' but I'd take him over Mitchell at the moment. That's all I was getting at. Defense out wide is all about position, so if that is weak then we have a problem, or rather 2poo does.

No question he can hit, it's the technical side of it that bothers me. Hope you are on the money about him learning fast.

In all seriousness, I think there is a little too much unwarranted optimism about this game and this season. The three quarters on both sides worry me in defence and I am worried we have Michael Gordon a year too late. Also Guerra and Matterson in the backrow worry me too. Titans at home deserve to be favourites and I will be nicely surprised if we get home in this one.
