Anyone else really happy with Kanes game last night? Can't remember the last time he ran that hard at the line.
I wonder if he has been told this season is his last chance.

I'm assuming he was told to run straight and hard just like he did in 2015 when he was devastating.

His footwork before the line and offloading on the back of it make him a real weapon.

Last year he devolved into a soft mud crab - far too much sideways shit with an ineffective offload on the end of it.

I thought it was his best game for quite a while. Notwithstanding which, the Titans gained the ascendancy while he and Liu were on the park. Therefore, a good start but as harsh it sounds, still more required to become dominant in the toughest position in the game.

Back to his 2015 form. I just wonder if he was carrying an injury through 2016 that we just don't know about.

What was super impressive was on two separate occasions the Titans kicked long 40m+ and Kane Evans sprinted back to be there for first hit up.You just don't see props do that, ever!

Really good attitude and looked more like the Kane Evans of old.

Good for the big unit. It's good to see him fire up and make a difference out there. We will need more of that if we are to have a positive season.

Good improvement by Evans but I really wish he would stop trying to off load on every play as opposition teams will read it easily more often and force him to make an error.... He and Tupou have improved a little with their unforced errors, but both had great running games and solid defense especially from Tupou and Evans did pull off some very string tackles in that game against really solid opposition.
