Dumb penalties and dumb errors almost cost us a routine win.

Lots of positives out of that game - we tracked down an 8 point lead, we scored plenty of points, some good kicks, and some good individual performances. Having said that, gee we fall apart in the second half and have some points scored against us. I'll go back to what I said at the end of last week's game in that we need to bring in some fatigue-based training to improve our defence and attack, and get a few more kilometres in our legs.

I think cummings was pretty good to us tonight, the other ref came up with that crap call with the Pearce strip. And realistically we were the ones that gave them every chance.

Those last two penalties were total bullshit. Pearce was 5m from the tryline when Morris picked the ball up near the dead ball line, but he's inside the 10, and then Reynolds drops the ball trying to play it too quickly and surprisingly its a penalty. Lot to improve on but we're 2 from 2.

After reflecting thats a good win over a side who again im sure will threaten the 8, we have a few brain fades but positives far outweigh negatives unlike last year, i wouldnt consider dropping any players bar guerra tbh

The problem with the errors is that the team just loses focus for that short period in which then the other team scores. Every error or penalty became a try against us no matter where it happened.

There was nothing wrong with the refereeing.

The last penalty was bullshit and they got away with numerous high tackles.

We received 2 penalties all game and none in the 2nd half i think. That's junk.
