Happy with the penalty in Reynolds play the ball in the lead up to their last try....and the penalty when Pearce was apparently inside the 10 yet was 5m inside the field of play when Morris picked the ball up on the dead ball line?

Dumb penalties and dumb errors almost cost us a routine win.
          Tommy your a drama queen.
You keep bangin on about mistakes & dumb errors, its NRL mate no team plays 80 minutes & doesnt make mistakes.
Mistakes get made at training when they are playing no opposition so when they are up against a physical good side & you are playing at a million mile an hour mistakes get made.
You make mistakes at work our players make mistakes its just the way it is.

We received 2 penalties all game and none in the 2nd half i think. That's junk.
High tackles? Cmon tommy, thought we were very lucky Cummings gave us the penalty when Napa kneed the ball out and we kicked the two.

Pearce was offside and it was a touch n go call.

Happy enough with Cummings, point the blame to Guerra, skd,Pearce kick out on the full and keary not cleaning up the loose ball. All 4 led to tries.

            • Matterson was brilliant tonight. Ran the ball with plenty of power. Great tough yards.

              • We played well for about 25 mins out of the 80, it was good enough against a rather mediocre Dogs side. (they look quite old and slow) Every single Dogs try game from one of our own unforced errors which was very frustrating - won't get away with playing this way against the better teams.

                  That I was disappointed about.
Loose ball nothing fancy just dive on it. A 1st grade player shouldnt f#ck that up.

Fair points but you'd expect more than two penalties against a niggly Dogs side.

                      • It was just that we were decently good . Lots of dropped ball was a major problem.Recovery in defence wasnt good .Defence has a long way to go .
Who gives a shit win by 4 or 40 we won - not playing our best but some top signs.
Tetevo...the new hitman. Matterson is going to be an awesome player Latrell is outa sight ....Fergo is getting his mojo back but succumed to a bad injury .
Ref was really shit with the ten ,bullchocks sweated on us a fairdinkum ref wouldve gave us 10 penalties for their offside..
Mixing good with fugly its ok for now.
Defence has a long way to go.

                        • On a side note - did Chris Smith even play a minute tonight?? Called in at the last second for Evans...I guess he didn't really fit in anywhere, especially with Zane firing!

The Reynolds one was a joke he literally just put the ball down and kicked it forward. I find it amazing that the same players across the league can continually con the refs so blatantly. I mean good luck to Josh Reynolds if he can keep getting away with it because he did squat all else tonight and it seems to be about all he's good for these days.

                              Indeed.

It was a bullshit call that almost cost us the game.
