I believe he didn't play at all.

    • 2 games 2 wins,
      No complaints from me.
Lets see how they go against one of the premiership favorites next week.
      Go the MIGHTY ROOSTERS.

        • The team spirit is there and the synergy and both great to watch when at the game as tv doesn't capture it as much as live

            Exactly right.
It plays a massive part in having a successful club.

              • Great win.

Some impressive plays: Friend's 40/20, Skd alley-oop, Tetavano creaming Hoppa, the chase on Keary's kick when Pearce was offside.

I can see us losing a gf this year. Feels like the kind of side who could go right up to the big dance - that's the spirit and depth we have this year. But without SBW...

I mean good luck to Josh Reynolds if he can keep getting away with it because he did squat all else tonight and it seems to be about all he's good for these days.
The pearce one on Mbye was a joke, mybe on top of pearce as he tried to roll him over. They didn't seem to mind in 2004 with el masri's try. I thought it was good to see the no.7's come together rubbish penalty.

However 2 down, I guess our opposition gets better every week at the moment with the panthers next week, interesting to see how they go this weekend they'll be better than last round. I was hoping for 3-2 at least after 5 rounds, so if we get the pennies next week then souffs and then manly. Hmmmm could be a bumper start.

I believe the main difference tonight even though we lost fergo, they lost their goalkicker early which was the statistical difference in the scoreline. Well its a contact sport after all.

                  • Errors.

Guerra, JWH and SKD....kills us....but a touch of class over the opposition got us home.

A team better than Gold Coast and Bulldogs who plays aggressively and slows the ruck will get us...we need to remedy some things.

Can't agree about Pearce thought he was ok...and Keary yeah great and costly. But how many other players would have had the speed or presence to even be there to dive on those lose balls? But you have to make it...and he didn't.

Even my boy Latrell (yes ive claimed him) not at his best. Still love him though.

Tetevano and Jake and Matto and Napa and Gordon and Maubs and Cords all v good.

I should be happier with the win but still feels a bit empty...I think it's cos I thought we would win easy.

                    Funny old game footy.

I feel a bit the same, its probably because we have let the last two teams back in cause of errors and both gone to the 80th minute. But 2 rounds in, you gotta take as many 2 points in the first 5 rounds whilst evryones sorting themselves out

                      • What's with this tactic of one bench player not playing at all? Smith didn't play a minute yet Napa played 73 and Guerra too many. Surely the coach could have given Napa a longer break and Smith a run.
The Roosters won but they made the game a lot closer than it should have been.

                          Good points JFC

Although Keary fumbled a few times at least he was there diving on the loose pills which says much about his tenacity & hunger

Team wise the mentality is a work in progress

What get's me incredibly excited is our BENCH POTENTIAL....which could carry us all the way!!!

                          Well done chooks

That penalty he gave the dogs on the last tackle late in the game was ridiculous you could see a mile away that Reynolds milked it.

And you could see a mile away that Cummins couldn't wait to give it.

2 penalties received in such a niggly rnd 2 affair isn't acceptable.

He gave the Cowboys 11 penalties last week.
