Hayne Reached Out To Roosters in Off Season

There is a pretty big Hayne backlash going on at the moment. Not sure if NRL clubs are going to want to continue forking out big dollars for him including the Titans.

Might end up in euro rugby I'd say.

The NRL/Telerag's hypocrisy is radiant. They're hankering to persecute Bryce Cartwright over unsubstantiated bleatings of a scorned ex and yet they give Matthew Johns, who lead his Cronulla teammates in a gangbang, his own show. If I wasn't a Rooster's fan, I wouldn't bother with the NRL.

Reported on NRL Tonight that Hayne reached out to us in the off season. Apparently wanted to get back to Sydney. We said no as we have Gordon, Mitchell, Watson.

Thank God we said no. He can be brilliant but goes missing too often for mine.

I gotta say I'm sick of the media beat up about Hayne. As it is I have a real hatred for the media. Unaccountable morons who now run rugby league.

An example of where the NRL is now at is Buzz saying on Nrl360 that if a story is on the front page of the newspaper then it must be investigated by the NRL . (Cartwright story). So in effect, Buzz thinks that the editor of the Telegraph decides what must be investigated. Todd Greenberg needs to get some balls and stand up to the media.

I'm sure we all have our opinions on Cartwright. Mine is its private and non criminal and is a regular occurrence. Abortion is one of the most touchiest subjects there is. Politicians get the question every time they reach office.
Where did this player bring the game into disrepute? What have Panthers done wrong? This is nobody's business but the player and his gf.

the games run by the media. nein chooses what and who makes the news, if its drongo cows or storm related , and its a negative story it wont get played , but instead will get swept under the carpet. while if its a nsw team, slag and bash the team into submission. the quicker we farkoff the nein rein over our game the better

I can't believe they have Beetroot Head on NRL 360. They even had him discussing betting last week, the hypocrite. If I knew how to tweet I'd have got on there to ask him how Eddie Hayson is going, the clown.

On Hayne, we definitely dodged a bullet. It seems that he's rubbed the Titans players up the wrong way already with his attitude to training. He might want to rethink that strategy - he was absolutely shite against us last week. I don't know how true it is, but according to Paul Kent, the Eels have let it be known that they wouldn't have him back.

You are quite right Parra dont want him anymore. They have made it known that Bevan French and Corey Norman are their poster boys. French will provide them with more value for less than half the price imo.

Value for me is the key word there - our 1-5 combined would not be on much more than Hayne is alone (speculating here).

I think it is more Fox sports & the Daily up up Cronulla Telegragh than channel nine.
With Foxtel now having a 24 hour NRL channel they will report anything related to Rugby League so that the channel has things to report.
