Without pearce's kicking game, our team would be shot like last year. Keary doesn't control the game, which gives him the freedom to roam about the field, he couldn't do pearce's role well.
Rather than be appreciative of the fact we have a potentially great half combo. Some of the guys here want to take pot shots especially at Pearce.
He must be doing something right. 1 premiership 2 gfs 3 MPs. He might not be the best but he doesnt have to be as long as we have a good running and creative 5/8. Pearce then comes into his own of creating space for his runners and his long kicking is probably the best in the comp.
They have played together twice ffs. The two of them compliment each other very well. Much like Pearce/Maloney. Two very different players who can lead us to a premiership if we get our discipline right.
Lol, he has been surrounded by class his whole career but cannot do anything with it.
The only time he looks good is when his halves partner is killing.
Honestly, swap him for Robson and you get the same result less the salary cap. Oh and Robson can get a repeat set.
Honestly, great link man but his next contract needs to reflect that.
Don't agree re the salary cap. If you got rid of Pearce thinking it was going to save money then the replacement does just as good a job, wouldn't he then command the same coin or more?
As much as I support Pearce while he is a Rooster, he is no JT. Let's not forget Alfie Langer was even smaller and look what that guy did.
Everyone makes mistakes and no one can see the future but Ricky has had time to develop into one of the top coaches in the game and I know for a fact that what he is doing in Canberra is amazing and plenty of NRL players would love to be coached by him.
