He has been suspended for 5 weeks from a Intrust game ( some of the trial games counted so back now)

It's foxsports so take it with a grain of salt, but...

"In calculations: Liam Knight. The former Sea Eagle was brilliant playing for Wyong in the ISP NSW last weekend. While the Roos lost to Penrith, the forward pushed out plenty of minutes and ran with purpose. Defensively bone shaking, it’s just a matter of time before the 22-year-old pushes onto the Roosters’ bench."

He'd better start impressing kingbilly if he wants a first grade spot

I only know what I've read about him, same with Lindsay Collins. Gee there is some depth in the forwards this year when we're fully fit.

def, but it might not matter as I am just waiting for a call from Des to sort the Bulldogs out

                        Who is the better prospect.

                        Liam Knight or Chris Smith?

                        Genuine question.

Knight has definitely had the bigger wraps from his time as a highly touted junior.

I see Chris Smith as a fringe first grader - still a great achievement - where as I suspect the club has high hopes for Knight.

I suspect that Evans won't be retained beyond 2017 and Knight will be challenging for a 1st grade spot next season.

Knight and Lindsay Collins are both big units, who are probably still filling out their frames. I reckon they could both carry a few more kilos comfortably, and as their both quite mobile could be very damaging ball runners.

Smith is smaller but quite skillful. He is a decent line runner and seems to play above his weight. He is a bit like Aubbo in that regard.

Interesting thinking tommy. I can see us investing in cheaper options next year as our depth matures.. Evans and guerra stand out asoptions to offload in the forwards.

Gordon is bucking that trend with the backs. If Manu shows his ready along with another outside back, Skd in similar boat to Evans and guerra..just my thoughts. Comments?
