Gman, not surprised to see Wells leave, I get the feeling that Dugan will be here in 2013, hence we wouldn't have the spare cash to match the offer from the Titans for Wells.
have you heard anything about the contracts of Kane Evans, TauTau Moga, Ethan Lowe, Cheyse Blair as they would likely to be the ones included in the top 25 squad next year to replace departing players.

These 4 NYC players are held in high regard by the club although Cheyse hasn't done his 1st grade prospects any favours by copping a
six match suspension last week. Coach Smith had him as 18th man a few weeks ago & would probably have played him last night.
Kane & TauTau are still elegible for NYC next year so they are a must to keep & develop. I'm hoping Ethan gets a go at Newtown next year.

Under 20's should only be considered as a development league, NSW cup should be used as a PROPER Reserve grade !
The old system of Under 23's/Reserve Grade/First Grade must be brought back!

a rookie i thought has been going alright the last few weeks is takarangi. has been hitting hard in defence and last night made a couple of good hitups and offloads. he and cordner seem to be the only rookies that didnt look too overawed when coming into fg.

How old is he? If we do'nt start blooding the under twenties this year, to see who can step up to first grade, then when will we? This year for us is done and dusted. We will see many young prospects tossed into the N.R.L. over the remainder of our season, unless Smith wants to lift our current less than 25% success rate. If we do'nt trial them now we may lose some good players to other clubs again.a
