This wouldve been the whole team for above .

Yep since that 2015 final we've gone to water every time we've come up against them for some reason.

Mitchell was not the biggest problem on the weekend. Hell he wasn't even the 2nd worst back on the field. He just had some severely troubling lazy spells which Robbo likely wanted to correct.

I'm surprised about all this criticism of Latrell. He has been awesome for 4/6 games this year. He is only 19 and already one of our best. He is also playing in a new position. Fark I reckon the kid deserves a break.

I have seen some really dissapointing things from him over the last 2 weeks from an attitude perspective but like you said he is still a kid and he's developing right in front of our eyes. If he wants it bad enough he will work through it, the talent is unquestionable.

It's hard for him because he's still a kid being asked to perform as an NRL star on a weekly basis. Every player goes through tough times and failures when coming through the ranks, it's how you develop your game. Others just have the luxury of doing it with less eyes on them.

It'a something Robbo will have to watch closely because sporting supporter bases, especially ours are notorious for being impatient.

I won't criticise Mitchell, I will however say that there are true competitors who punch above their weight, there are naturally gifted athletes and there true football brains who never fail to get the job done. For me Latrell is an athlete who lacks the other 2 components. I don't see him ever being in the trenches, I haven't seen it in any of his under 20 performances and I haven't seen it in first grade. And as good as he went in first 4 weeks, I was not fooled by his lack of involvement or hunger. The way he floats in and out of games in all facets is true indication of where he is really at. For me Inglis is the same, but difference is he wouldn't have dreamed of showing that attitude in first 5-6 years of his career because true leaders such as Smith, Bellamy, Cronk etc would never let him get away with it. Our leadership group aren't that level.

Just my opinion, but I would class Latrell as 'at risk'..

            People have short memories

            http://afltables.com/rl/scorers/game...607280409.html

In the last game of the season we also lead them 14-12 at half time before suffering a 22-14 loss.

So the only time we have gone to water against the Broncos since 2015 was ummm last Thursday!

Strange comments man. You bag the kid and then say he is the same as Inglis. Love him or loathe him Inglis is and has been a champion for some time. If Latrell's career shadows that of Inglis then I would say he is about to become a very successful young man. I see the improvement in him but for me this kid is phenomenal. I really believe he is going to win multiple premierships with the Roosters. I hope I'm right

I don't see where I have 'bagged the kid' but just to clarify, I liken Latrells athletic ability to Inglis (speed and strength) but Inglis also encompasses the competitive streak I don't see in Latrell -hence my comment "he (Inglis) wouldn't dreamed showing poor attitude" Hence I believe there is and always will be a divide between the 2, all be it they share some similar (athletic) traits.

He has been lazy. Not an uncommon trait with young players. This will do him good.

We definitely see something different. I see Latrell as a winner. He has an uncanny knack of getting over the line when he gets a sniff. I see him as super competitive. I guess only time will tell. I guess it is racist to say so but young indigenous talents from regional areas are often pretty different in the way they go about things.

                        1. Is Latrell going to be our fullback?
                        2. Is Latrell going to be a winger? good position for him, IMO.
                        3. Is SKD going to be moved on? In the Sunday paper.
                        4. Is Fergo going to be moved on? In the Sunday paper.
                        5. Is Tedesco coming? or not.
                        6. Why are we buying Tedesco when he can't tackle any better than the players we have now? He also makes stuff ups when in control of the ball...he did it last week. He's not perfect by any means.
                        7. Is Gordon staying or going?
                        8. When is SKD going back to no4?

Because at the moment the players' minds seem to be in disarray.
If all this tripe continues we'll be lucky to win another game this year.
You seem to have this thing for SKD and his position ( are you related ), he's been a great clubman to be sure but his best days are long behind him and I think he knows that hence why he tries TOO hard and the errors are flowing as a result. Just my opinion.

Lattrell is a gun and when given early ball is as good as anyone in the game, we pass him the ball in traffic and bomb to Toops. The most Lattrell gets the ball is when he takes a hit up from inside our 20. You are right, the bloke is very laid back, we have to give the bloke the early ball he deserves

for what its worth Buzz Rothwit thinks we will "rest" Latrell this week.

if his head isn't right it might be a good idea, needs to get his focus right again.

TBH it was Keary who was the target. Pretty simple and predictable tactic really... send your pigs at the little guy and rattle his bones. This then rushes the play and leads to errors right down the line.

IMO 'weaknesses' are always on a sliding scale. Latrell a liability? Walker got the last laugh, but there were 3 or 4 situations where Latrell manned up and manhandled him (one in particular where he showed him who's boss).

If we had no weaknesses to exploit, we'd win 100-0 every week. No team is like that.

He hasn't been named, Manu and Fergo have been named in the centres
