From the Lurker so not sure how accurate this is ...

So Latrell Mitchell was “rested" by the Roosters this weekend?
Don’t you believe it!
My Roosters spies tell me Mitchell was dropped by the club for disciplinary reasons after a heated disagreement with coach Trent Robinson in Brisbane last weekend.
Mitchell was “hooked” by Robinson late in the heavy loss to the Broncos and was none too pleased about it.
The talented young centre had words with Robinson in front of the entire playing group in the emotion-charged moments after the big defeat.
Interestingly, I’m hearing the decision to “rest” Mitchell came not so much from Robinson but from the Roosters’ senior playing group.
They decided Mitchell needed to be taught a lesson in respect - and that’s why he’ll be missing from this Friday night’s clash with the Knights.

Clever quote, funny, but lets get real. The difference is SKD makes his mistakes trying to DO something, goes looking fo the ball, takes hit ups..... Mitchell is lazy and makes wrong decisions in attack and defence and then sulks. Huge difference.Embrace the Hate! JC

Not sure how the theory works for fergo then, he seems disinterested as anybody a lot of the times on the field, yet no repercussions for him.
Anyway you can't drop everyone who seems lazy or uninterested or we would be playing with about half a team.

Some of those on here must not know what it's like to have your heart broken or suffer from any sort of loss or depressive episode, let alone in the public eye. They also must be absolutely perfect at their jobs each and every day as well. I for one am grateful for everything Shaun has done for the Roosters and the way he has picked himself up after having his life ripped apart like it has been. I often go past the spot where he was found alone in his car and I get the shivers at what might have been. Like someone else on here wisely pointed out the other day, his blunders are not from lack of effort. They usually are from caring and trying too much or the unsupportive actions of those around him.
That's all true. We love SKD.
But we can't afford to carry his mistakes anymore.

So what happens to Latrell now? No doubt we went a lot better without his bad attitude even allowing for the lower quality opposition.
I imagine he'll probably be back for the dragons but not sure if that's the right moveLast edited by Maxy Walker; 04-14-2017, 09:28 PM.
