Any value in chasing him - be able to play lock forward as 5/8 and lock forward are similar positions and he does offer a fair bit in attack/creativity and defence which we lack in the back row

No thanks to Reynolds. We have halves and hooker pretty much covered and he'd be a bloody expensive utility (don't see him as a forward), espec when we have Connor Watson at a fraction of the price and without all the grubby antics and penalties.

Really so when I said Watson is being earmarked for fullback for 2018 he plays for Wyong Roos as Fullback tonight(play some games this year too since Gordo is playing injured)- bet your never thought that would happen/Latrell Mitchell rested but not solely for football form reasons - what did Robbo say reason for leaving him out- not form related- being kept inhouse/ Nofoaluma and Feldt being chased by Parramatta(will be signing I hear) - only in newspaper today about this "interest" by Parramatta - oh yes and I'm a jibber you say - mmm I suppose you get your footy facts from your Teddy Bear whilst scoffing down deep fried peanut butter and jelly sangers :-)

Are we linked to any other players. I guess Guerra will be gone but we have plenty of depth there. Toups, Fergo, SKD are not safe at all. We definitely need a big prop. We just can't match it with many of the other teams.

I actually don't agree that media people necessarily know more about our players than the people on here. We watch the roosters closely every week and have done for years. Those media guys often don't even watch every game. They may know more about the game but we know more about the roosters.

Case in point is Paul Kent. The other day he said that Guerra, SKD and Toups haven't earned their money this season. Including Toups tells me that he has hardly watched any of our games this season. Toups has been close to the best winger in the comp. It was lazy and wrong.

I believe that many in here know our side's strengths and weaknesses more than almost all media people - and even some coaches.

100% right.
I benefited from this disparity in 2002 when it was clear the Roosters were going to give the comp a shake but were still paying almost 10-1.
