Expect penalties aplenty on ANZAC Day
It’s a fair chance the Roosters will win the penalty count in the big ANZAC Day clash with the Dragons.
Remarkably, the Roosters have received just three penalties in their last two games – they were caned 8-2 against the Broncos and 5-1 against the Knights.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson has let referees boss Tony Archer know he is far from happy, and, the way rugby league works, the count is certain to even out against the DragonsWritten and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

St George have received a total of 112 more penalties than they have conceded
The Roosters have received 150 fewer penalties than they have conceded
That's a 262 penalty advantage over 5 years. I'm not holding my breath for any preferential treatment from Archer's boys.
My tip is a low but even penalty count (4-3 to the Dragons?) but with the referees using their other tricks.

- The Roosters won't receive their first penalty until the 19th minute
- By the 19th minute, the dragqueens will have received three penalties
- The dragqueens will receive their first penalty with either their first or second set in possession

Don't forget the 'crowd pressure' penalties. We will be outnumbered in the stands, and so that means at least 2 to 4 'crowd booing' penalties - guaranteed.Roosters For Ever

The NRL tailors the game for sponsors. Thrashings are not in the interest of getting people interested in a game or to watch the ads but close matches get more people watching the ads. It's not a sport anymore but a forum for advertising $$$. I believe refs are told to try and get 'close' games where possible.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

Actually I think there is pressure on the refs.
8-2 and 5-1 against in our last 2 games.
The reffing today must be fair and even. Hopefully they'll be keeping a closer eye on the dragons. Then again those pigs flying outside my window tell me I'm dreaming.Roosters For Ever
