They knew we would probably win anyway.

They played to the crowd...kept the home team in the game.

Gotta love the NRL hierarchy that sanctions or, at the least, looks the other way to this.

3 penalties in the last 2 games, how they only got one penalty tonight is beyond belief.

Robbo sounded incredulous in the press conference.

He made mention of our 1 penalty from an accidental offside. And noted how 'clean' our oppostion were.

Basically no penalties in 80 minutes. After 2 last week.

We've copped it bad before so I shouldn't be surprised but I'm still in shock at how quickly they've started to clamp down on us again.

It's not even bias. We can all see it for what it is - a deadset fix.

Yep, nobody in the press conference seemed to pick up on the point he was trying to make, you would've thought a follow on question would've ensued.

It was on last week too. The referees refused to speak to our capt when they approached

It's all purely coincidental. That's what the anti conspriratists tell us. If that's a word!

Undeniable. I've never seen a game in my life where a team has given away zero penalties in the general run of play as that offside one was mandatory.

We're being held to ransom here and nothing is being done about it. No respect for a foundation club and tbh, we are hardly threats this year compared to '13 thru '15.

They just want to see us burn.

Like Robbo said we had to fight for every meter, how's that gonna go next week? Or for the rest of those flogs lives who run the NRL?

the one that really pissed me off was late in the 2nd half when Keary was brought down after the Cordner break he was flipped over and his legs were pulled to slow the play the ball, should of been a sin bin and we didn't even get a penalty.

I have simply lost all interest in the NRL Roosters aside, give me a good AFL/NFL game any day, and judging by the crowd figures people are becoming disinterested in droves.
What was that one in the play before the Pearce try? We woulda scored but our player (forget who) 'got caught by some brilliant defence'. Live I swear he was pulled back from chasing by a long jersey grab while he chased the ball. NONE of the replays dared to go back that far. We scored pretty soon after but IMO that stuff kills us against better teams because we don't then score in the next set (if anything they do, as we saw with Brisbane... scores even and we scored a try... refs called penalty instead and Brisbane scored off it).

Haven't seen the game and based on the views of all but one poster, I'm glad I didn't see the game because despite winning, the handling of the match by the game managers would have left me a little annoyed. From round 1 to round 6, here are the penalties conceded figures for the knoughts:

                    3
                    4 (vs titans)
                    5
                    10 (vs panfers)
                    7
                    8 (vs sharks)

So the knoughts' discipline was exemplary, no, it was actually perfect against the Roosters, and I have to commend coach brown for the stunning turnaround since the panfers game where his team were a rabble that conceded 10 penalties.

Yes, the seemingly-biased refereeing I've spoken about here in recent weeks...to no avail.

                      Maybe now forumites will believe.
6-1 penalties in favour of the Knights after 55 minutes of last night's game.

                      Sweep the broom!
                      New refs need appointing!
AFL and Soccer are coming...no wonder they're taking over.

Rothfield's newspaper article needs displaying in the media again...and shining a large spotlight on.
The Board of the ARL Commission or whoever is running the game these days needs to be made explain.

Or The Roosters just sue someone/s.
Drag it all thru the courts.

Fire off official legal complaints to all and sundry, .....that way records, documents, tapes, bank account details etc from everywhere could all be subject to subpoena.
That would be an interesting exercise.

It seems the only way left.

If that's true/deliberate, they shouldn't be allowed to...because that would be akin to attempting to manipulate the results of games? which is highly illegal, and would warrant the involvement of the Crimes Commission?]

                            8-5 titans
                            5-2 dogs
                            10-9 to us v Penrith
                            6-4 Souths
                            6-5 to us v manly
                            8-2 broncos
                            5-1 knights

46 against 30 for, -16 difference, when you look at the sharks, they are 50-28 a -22 difference and are yet to play this week,

Not sure how we got 10 in that Penrith match, but even when we win the count it is only by 1 penalty.
