If no Tedesco then I'd give Gordon and his goal kicking another year and I'd try to get Roger back for 2018. Despite everyone saying he went back to NZ for family this is not true as his mum, dad, sister and brother all live in Sydney. By 2019 surely Roger would have gotten sick of the lack of success and would be itching to come and live in Bondi, with his family, at a successful footy club.

I'd be very surprised if Fergo was there next year. And he is playing like he knows it.

Widdop is my preferred option at present. His salary isn't crazy, he's a good player and leader, he can goal kick, and won't be caught up with Origin.

It will be next year with the lack of quality playmakers in the NRL. Tigers have shortlisted him and you can be sure he will be offered more than the $800K Moses got at Parramatta. Besides we already have Keary. Can you imagine the club letting him go now, after the way he has started the season?

I don't think Roger ever mentioned moving to NZ to be with family. In fact I heard the opposite, he wanted independence from his family and live his life.
