By 2019 surely Roger would have gotten sick of the lack of success and would be itching to come and live in Bondi, with his family, at a successful footy club.

      Can't believe it, boogie making sense for once in his life. I guess a broken clock is also right, twice a day.

        I can't think of a player who Nick took back after they chose to leave. I doubt he would do it in business and especially doubt he would do it at our club. Maybe SBW would have been an exception but I doubt they chased him seriously.

          You would have to think Tedesco and Woods have signed somewhere as the sideshow has gone very quiet!! i reckon the club is waiting for the end of the 10 day cooling off period to announce it whether its us or the dogs. If they wanted to stay at the Tigers and the $$ was more as suggested, why not resign now? are they waiting for one more win to justify beating the cowboys!!

            Paul Dunn lol.. i get what you are saying, but this isn't what I think will happen, rather what I would like to happen.

              Me too. Especially when I was hearing rumours pre-season about how unhappy he was there with their professionalism. Worriers smartly then made him skipper and told him to take ownership.

                  Out of the 3 mentioned I reckon Hayne.
                  He would be the hardest to work with but if the Roosters got him firing he would be a champion.

                    My wish list for fullback in 2018 would be

                    1 Teddy, if we didnt get him then;
                    2 RTS; I understand this wont happen; nor below but....
                    3 Lets get one back at the Warriors and poach Johnson lol...I think he would turn into a gun fullback, he has speed, ball playing ability, the fitness and also can take high balls (in addition to his touch background, he was a gun AFL player as a schoolboy in NZ believe it or not) and wouldn't be burdened with running the team.

                    I think Latrell is a centre in the short to mid term like Inglis was in the first 5 years of his NRL career. He just doesn't appear to have the motor or attention to detail just yet and those things sometimes take more time with some.

                          Well if you've got the news Salvo, where has Teddy signed? Roosters or Dogs?
                          I'm pretty sure Woods has signed with Dogs already.

                            Back on Dugan, he is well past his best. His game was based on tackle busting runs from fullback when at Canberra, however this has taken a toll on his body and he has lost the effectiveness running the ball and picks up a few too many injuries. This won't improve as he gets older. He also didn't develop any ball playing skills in this time to compensate for his reduced running game. I would be mortified if we signed him.

                              gees I was about to say him too - Ian Schubert as well- was Nick involved when Rocky Laurie also came back in 1981?- during Ron Jones's era in charge- I know Nick Sponsored us via City Ford from 1976 but don't think he was on the board then

                                Tedesco and Woods will be more than likely Dogs signings but both will give Tigers last shot - we are not in the race anymore - Dugan is supposedly our focus now ?- don't know why as I would be earmarking Watson for FB- Guerra/SKD/Toops/Fergo future's will now be re-assessed since we will miss out on Tedesco/Woods- I suggest we will only re-sign 2 of these players- seemingly the Chooks are not considered a destination of choice anymore with many player managers considering the Chooks are in need of a player roster overhaul and not recommending their clients sign with us as a result- meaning we could spend some time out of the top 8 or in premiership contention position for a few years to come. One has to only look if our current squad is able to match Storm/Broncos/Sharks/Raiders and Cowboys(depending on their injuries) at their best-deemed the top 5- don't think they could- leaving us a chance of finishing in the 6th to 8th spot - battling away with 11 other teams for these last 3 spots- 17 games to go will decide if we are genuine or making up the numbers
