Tedesco and Woods will be more than likely Dogs signings but both will give Tigers last shot - we are not in the race anymore - Dugan is supposedly our focus now ?- don't know why as I would be earmarking Watson for FB- Guerra/SKD/Toops/Fergo future's will now be re-assessed since we will miss out on Tedesco/Woods- I suggest we will only re-sign 2 of these players- seemingly the Chooks are not considered a destination of choice anymore with many player managers considering the Chooks are in need of a player roster overhaul and not recommending their clients sign with us as a result- meaning we could spend some time out of the top 8 or in premiership contention position for a few years to come. One has to only look if our current squad is able to match Storm/Broncos/Sharks/Raiders and Cowboys(depending on their injuries) at their best-deemed the top 5- don't think they could- leaving us a chance of finishing in the 6th to 8th spot - battling away with 11 other teams for these last 3 spots- 17 games to go will decide if we are genuine or making up the numbers

unless their name is Hasler or related to him that is - Tedesco - 1.1 million per year - 4 year deal - Woods 900k per year for 4 year deal - Dogs to announce next week the two signings

may make the 8( 6 to 8 position) but 1 to 5 will win it - cannot see us competing with the Storm/Broncos/Sharks/Raiders or even Cowboys with all their injuries when at or near their best- we will need to improve more than the current squad has the ability to improve on which is why a revamp of the squad is required. 13/14/15 should have been a trifecta of premierships like 2002/3/4 but wasn't - changes needed to Be made after 2004 but were not same as after 2015 - stuck with players who have become stale and a liability not only in 2016 but 2017 too. Robbo was blessed with the squad he had in 2013-2015 but only one premiership despite 3 times minor premiers- sure Pearce/Cords/JWH were out first 8 or so rounds in 2016 - but there was no one developed to take their places as it was known these three would miss this period of time . with 25 in the squad you would have alternatives for these positions and put the work into them to bring them up to NRL standard which didn't occur

According to that philosophy everything printed in the paper must be true! And the Roosters have never been used by agents to get bigger player contracts.

I hope we get him. I watched the Tigs v Eels match and he deserves to be in a better team. He reminds me of Mini in his prime - a pinball bouncing of defenders and then exploding with blistering speed. He also has something Mini never had - a very effective short kicking game.

You really believe Fergo is just as good at fullback as Tedesco? Surely not. For starters Fergo has nowhere near the aerobic capacity or ball playing skills to play fullback.
And there is no way Fergo could have done what Tedesco did in yesterday's game.

But I am a bit confused about something, you have been saying that Watson will get first crack at fullback in 2018 (hence why you think he played there for wyong on the weekend) yet almost a few days later you are saying that we really are after dugan as fullback. Can you explain this inconsistency for me because I admit I am a bit dumb at the best of times.

I would hazard a guess and say that Watson is the fallback option should we not sign Tedesco or Dugan
