I have been bleeding red, white and blue since the 1970's.

I have never been more down about our club than I am now.

Not even in our wooden spoon year.

The reason is that I seriously expected to win the comp this season.

    And why wouldn't I?

I had just seen the best Roosters attack I had ever seen.

There was a full off-season to gel even more.

    The confidence was sky high.

And now what have we got?

We have not scored more than 12 points since Round 12.

The best attack I have seen has become the worst.

In defence last night I saw some of the softest tries I have ever seen us give up.

They went to a camp during the week and all signs are positive. They are looking forward to getting into the other team. And our captain kicks out on the full - for the umpteenth time. They score in the next set a pathetically soft try and my great first tryscorer investment (Linnett at $21) goes out the window.

Whilst we have had plenty, it is just too easy to blame injuries.

The sides we have put on the park in the last month should have won all those games.

For the first time ever I don't want to go and watch them play.

    I am feeling old.

    I am feeling tired.

    I have had enough.

I think it's time for me to retire.

And don't give me any of that "real supporters stick through thick and thin" garbage. I have paid my dues and am entitled to getting a dressing gown on and putting my feet up in front of a nice log fire.

My thoughts exactly - that debarcle last night has hit me hard too - I am just so over what they are dishing up at the moment and I really can't see any light at the end of the tunnel

When do the players take accountability?

I'm with you my old friend & like you those who'll say, ""real supporters stick through thick and thin" can keep it to themselves.

I went last night & was mortified at the performance. My son was in tears. The Roosters fans around me were just laughing at the atrociousness of it all in the second half.

I wont go to another game this year and I won't be renewing next year. Why should I pour my hard earned in when players who earned 4 & 5 times as much as I do in a year clearly don't care? Why should I watch my son cry each week?

Why is it that all of us can see the problems in the team? Why is it that we are subjected to the farcical press conferences each week?

Why don't they care JT? You see and hear things mate - what the friggen hell is going on? I remember PM'ing you after Manly flogged us 56-0 & asked when the hell were we punting Anderson as coach? You said something along the lines of "watch this space".

Forget the coach.......I want players punted now!!!!!!!!! I want to 'watch this space" again mate!!!!!!

It is heartless, it is spineless, it is endemic. We have the most selfish, arrogant, in it for the money mercenary captain since Vautin. A coach who is either clueless, has lost the players or both. Is there something between Smith and Anasta? I never saw him look at Smith at the presser.

No guessing who runs to the media first.

                Chook.

For what? They look so lost out there - it's reminiscent of the team under Opes in 07. 2 weeks after being flogged by 56 at the hands of Manly we were beating the eventual Premiers Melbourne with ease and dubbed "the team who knows how to dismantled the Storm" due to the simple tactics of kicking the ball out and taking Slater completely out of the match. Brian has overcomplicated things and lost the players, his ego won't allow him to take it back to basics so we are ****ed.

Another spoon is coming if he stays.

The real problem pump is the fact that" we "as supporters have no say at all.
It all comes down to one mans discretion.

                      Yep I know it Trew.

If I can rage and vent in here at least I can hope that one of the journo's who regularly troll this site will see it and maybe if enough of us say it...........they'll print it. Stupid fantasy I know.

Nick either has his mind on something else or he's losing interest.

                      And yep Pipe, I have a Roosters tatt. I'm contemplating a cover-up.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I can't see us winning another game all year.

We started poorly and a getting worse. Its very hard to watch.
