      Daniel Toupo hey......

      1. Serial arm grabber.Has never made a front on tackle around the legs in his NRL career......and opposition players know it and love taking him on one on one

      2. Cant read in defence.Forever running in and being caught in between the opposition centre & winger waving his arms around like a windmill . If you cant make the overlap against the Roosters then shift the ball to Toupos wing and he will make one for you.

3.Timid ball runner. He never attempts runs thru the defence when bringing the ball back from a kick. As soon as he gets stopped he will twist turn his back into the defenders making it easy for defenders to pick him up and drive him back

      4. When he is being driven back his first instinct is to panic & desperately offload the ball, irrespective that he is in his own quarter and the ball receiver will have nowhere to go.....which will end in loss of yardage at best or a handling error at worst

      5. Always good for at least a couple of ball handling errors in early tackles or tight situations in his own half

6.His main attacking asset in attack is in the air but he is nowhere near as effective in the last couple of years as he was once was. Reason is he gives up as soon as he is being run off the ball.Reason why he isnt getting a penalty for being run off the ball is opposition players know it only takes a subtle movement and bump into him & he will stop in his tracks

Besides all this he goes ok

My understanding is Fergo has been playing for 'Unders'. Now he is up for a new contract that will change. I have no doubt he will be after big coin from us which I don't see the Club doing with Manu, Mitchell and even Watson able to play centre. His defensive reads are also dismal.

I imagine he is someone the Knights might throw big bucks at.

This isn't s bad summary of him from last year but this year he's been in our top 3 best and consistent performers.

Looks like Toops will get a new 4 year deal - Fergo to find out this week if a new contract will be offered(Knights/Tigers interested) - less coin though- SKD/Guerra long odds to receive new contract offers- Newcastle or Tigers for SKD's and Titans or Tigers for Guerra it seems- Watson being targeted by Wests Tigers too- finding it difficult to see where his NRL future is at the Roosters it seems is the goss

Watson would be s good buy for the tigers and a bad loss for us. Yeah Keary is going well but I still would have preferred Watson at 6. Anyway what's done is done.

Add Storm to the EOI list for Watson

Short memory obviously. Watson played a number of games at 6 at the end of last year and went well. However Keary had already been signed by that point. Had Watson been given a full off season of training at 6 I reckon he'd be going just as well as Keary. But just not the way things panned out.

Got to agree. Hopefully Watson gets his chance to shine before decisions made

I like watson, he brings energy and speed but i still get the feeling his skill set is somewhat limited he could develop and itd be a massive shame to lose him i agree , but at this point id still take keary

What happens if Keary or Pearce get injured?
...and /or Pearce gets picked for Origin?

                              I'd keep Watson...can play FB, 6,7,3,4,5,2.

Storm can obviously see his talent.
