Sad... but I think his best footy is well and truly behind him. Will do well at a team like Newcastle.

i think if skd manages to maintain his positive attitude the sky is the limit for this international player, i expect him to be a one team clubber after joining the roosters at age 16 via clovelly ok hes had his moments , havent we all but he continues to put in every week regardless of the score , the opposition or the referee!

No respect for SKD- 222 games and 120 tries - deserves better - If I was Tedesco I would be asking questions about the Roosters retentions / signings for 2018 - with Toops/Fergo/SKD/Gordon/JTS off contract and seemingly no movement on re-signing any of them - what will the backline look like if he did sign - would make one think twice and either stay at the Tigers or sign with the Dogs

I love SKD, like Im sure most on here do. And most also will always consider him a club legend. But the sad fact is he will never change. The deficiencies he has in his game I do not see as being coachable. If they were then he would not be making them at this stage of his career. I think its time to move him on.Embrace the Hate! JC

If you were 'in the know' like you seem to want us to believe, you'd probably have some info on how our retentions/signings are looking for next season surely?

I agree in 2010 he was making the same mistakes BUT was also scoring alot of tries through his once freakish ability of being able to get around his man and score, these days he brings none of the try scoring ability he used to have but still makes all those mistakes and more.

I love SKD and am in two minds on what I want the club to do with him. Playing in a grand final with a broken jaw is legendary - moreso if you're wearing a vermin jumper according to the media and broader NRL community but I digress. I find that his mistakes seem to be costing us more this year and I'm gradually losing patience with him. I have only ever seen him as a Rooster for life however.
Ferguson annoys me more!

Why would he, we rarely give the ball to our outside backs, we bomb instead. SKD and Toops see the ball more from dummy half inside our own half, Their hands may be shite at times but SKD and Toops defence is very very good, shame our 2 centres in manu and fergo and sometines Lattrell are not great at reading the attack
